By using Flare, you agree to these terms. Flare is provided as a beta service. Features may change and availability is not guaranteed during the beta period.
Use of the service
Flare is intended for analyzing cloud and SaaS audit logs you are authorized to access for security and operational purposes. You may not use Flare to analyze logs you do not have permission to access. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization before connecting a cloud account, Workspace customer or GitHub organization.
Cloud permissions
Flare requests read-only access within each connector’s documented scope. Workspace supports manual audit analysis; GitHub audit log connections are coming soon. These sources require appropriate provider permissions and plans when enabled. GCP uses an OAuth grant. AWS uses a customer-created IAM role with an ExternalId and short-lived credentials, not an access key. Disconnecting removes the connection stored in Flare. To revoke provider-side access, revoke the OAuth grant in Google or GitHub or delete the AWS role. Audit availability, history and delays depend on the provider. Findings are investigative leads and do not guarantee detection of every threat.
